| Festival of the Dead, an annual two-week Halloween celebration beginning on October 19 in Salem, Massachusetts, explores death’s macabre customs, heretical histories, and strange rituals. Hosted by the foremost authorities on the spirit world, the events include a series of rituals, workshops, psychic fairs, nocturnal gatherings, and is crowned by the Official Salem Witches’ Halloween Ball on October 31. Founded by Salem Witch elders Shawn Poirier and Christian Day, Festival of the Dead beckons guests to step through the veil into a realm where spirits await. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Located in Columbus Ohio, this is Cooper Stadium redecorated just in time for Halloween. It's for the entire family and rated PG13. There is even a section for the little ones while mom and dead...oops..dad, check out the park. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Located in Orlando Florida, this is a huge haunted castle run year round in the heart of tourist district. Take your picture by the huge torches outside and enjoy a lengthy and scary tour of the castle inside. Very neat ideas for home haunting in here! | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| UNIVERSAL STUDIOS HALLOWEEN HORROR NIGHTS | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Located in Orlando Florida, this is a month long celebration of the best holiday of the year. HHN is open after regular park hours close and they usually feature 3-4 ornately decorated haunted houses, Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure (very funny), plus the regular rides. (Here's a tip...everyone is crowded seeing all the Halloween stuff, that the regular rides are practically empty). There's also a very spooky midway! A great thing to see at least once in your lifetime. And it's also off season in Orlando for all your tourists! This year they are having it at Islands of Adventure where all the rollercoasters are, so we'll see how it compares to the other park in the past. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Six Flags California offers up an annual array of hauntings yearly. It's a lot like Halloween Horror nights, but all of their super scary roller coasters are even scarier during Fright Nights cuz they all run backwards! I saw a review of Six Flags Fright Nights on Discovery Channel, and if you are in the area, this looks like the Halloween Theme to check out! | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Busch Gardens Tampa Bay's Howl O'Scream located in Tampa Florida. This park, after hours, features unseen spooks, spectres, and special effects that can be experienced within the Dark Cavern & Labyrinth of lost Souls mazes.
